From 1994 to 2009, Lynda Burns set up and ran Onsite Interpretation, a design and implementation consultancy focused on interpretation – planning and project managing visitor centres and interpretation panels.

For the following 13 years, she has been leading the visitor experience team in the Christchurch City Council Parks, including 6 years based at the Christchurch Botanic Gardens. This team worked across the whole visitor experience opportunities including web, social media, maps and publications, public programmes, wayfinding, park bookings, interpretation projects, visitor centre design and maintenance, strategic and project planning.
Now moving north of Auckland Lynda will be available again to clients in parks, botanic gardens, museums, galleries, and heritage sites who are looking for advice and support in interpretation projects or full strategic planning and project management services.
